The Script are shooting their music vid in SA!

Irish pop rock band, The Script are in South Africa to shoot a music video for their latest single to be released next week.

The band jetted into the country last night, tweeting " In South Africa, its Chilly!!!! Winter here! Summer at home? Wha?!!! ;-) G" starting a frenzy of local fans looking to spot the band around town.

Speaking to Irish radio station RTE  2Fm on Wednesday, the band said that they would be in South Africa for three to four days to shoot the music video for a new single - the first off the bands upcoming fourth album,  which should be released next week.

The band's drummer Glen Power joked with the station that flying to South Africa meant he would have to pack in some berry tea to keep warm and body armour to keep himself safe.

"I've heard it's the number one murder capital of the world so I got a bullet proof vest in my case but you never know" he joked. "We've been told we have security over there, like 30 to 40 security on set".

We don't think you gotta worry about guns Glen, but you might need that security to keep your local fans at bay.
