The Soil shut down UK music festival - in a good way!

Johannesburg - Mzansi love The Soil - and so does the UK!

The Afro-Soul group performed at the World of Music and Dance festival in the UK this past weekend, where they played to an over-capacity crowd.

In fact, the crowd to see the group perform was so large people had to stand outside of the tent they were performing under just to catch a glimpse of the group.

The group posted an electric moment from their set that left us with goosebumps. Check it out:

"Three thousand people came to see us, there was no longer space in the Big Red tent. People watched from outside the wings of the tent. The applause went on and on until we literally asked them to stop,' the groups Ntsika "Fana-tastic" Ngxanga told Sowetan.

The Soil are no strangers to England, having played for the Queen earlier this year (Read more about that HERE), still the group say this past weekend's event was the "best international audience" we've ever played for.

And among that audience was another familiar face, that of Ashes to Ashes actor, Nyaniso Dzedze.

Check out his concert experience:
