The countdown to Trevor's The Daily Show debut begins

Johannesburg - Jon Stewart signed off last night as the long standing host of The Daily Show. Celebs including Ellen, Jerry Seinfeld and even US President, Barack Obama, wished him well.

Our guy, Trevor Noah, also sent him a message on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Trevor is set to take over the reigns on 28 September. During recent interviews he said it would be a different show because he is not Jon Stewart, he is Trevor Noah.

Sources have told The Juice that Trevor has been working hard ahead of his debut next month and is under an immense amount of pressure. "He wants it to be successful. He wants to make an impression. There has been so much out there about him already, and he knows that not everybody is going to like him, but he wants people to give him a chance."

We can't even actually imagine the nerves.
