Tina confirms divorce from Prosper

While most people are celebrating the new year in a happy mood, Tina Mkwaiwa is going through a divorce. The singer confirmed to The Juice that she and Prosper are getting a divorce after years of being together.

This comes after reports surfaced that the couple had a huge fight, which resulted in Tina being kicked out of their home. Sunday Sun reported that Prosper dumped his wife and has even thrown her out of their home in Witbank. The paper is reporting that Tina reacted by slashing his tryers.

But the singer told The Juice that there is no truth to the story. "I'm pissed off because of whatever they said. I know nothing about it. The car I allegedly smashed is mine. How can I smash my own tryers?"

Sources told Sunday Sun that Prosper apparently accused Tina of neglecting him after he was injured in a car accident last year. The source said: "Now that he has fully recovered, they have gone back to their old ways of fighting. "The couple reportedly had an argument after Prosper allegedly accused Tina of being a bad woman. Prosper was apparently fuming and threw Tina's clothes out of the house."

But Tina explained to The Juice that she and Prosper are in the process of divorcing. She said she had to take care of him after his accident. "I still go to the house because the kids are there. I sometimes sleep there. We never fought and we are on good terms. This story is making me sound like a crazy woman. I'm busy working on new projects and I would never jeopardise my career like that. Who would want to work with a crazy woman?"

Prosper apparently told Sunday Sun that Tina is a troubled soul. He said: "Mchana, I'm really tired of this woman's drama. She used to leave me alone when I was sick and I'm not going to tolerate her controversy. I threw her stuff outside my house because she doesn't want to listen to me when I talk..."
