Unathi Msengana: "My life still feels like a dream"

Unathi Msengana is thankful after walking away with the Media Star Award at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. The radio and TV personality told CliffCentral's The Heat Show this morning: "I am very honoured to have received the award. It's a great validation of my work. It means people are watching."

Although her star continues to shine in the entertainment industry, the SA Idols judge revealed that her life still feels like a dream. She compared herself to a village girl who found gold. She has remained grounded, despite her many achievements and success.

So, how does such a busy woman juggle all her roles?  "I'm very strict with my time and having a schedule and sticking to it helps." She added that she makes sure that she does nothing after 4pm because that time is dedicated to her children.

Oh, and her husband Thomas Msengana plays a huge role in her life.  "It helps having a supportive and secure man." Unathi realises that she wouldn't be where she is if it wasn't for her fans. She thanked everyone who supports her and added: "It's good to know that my work is not going in vain."
