Unathi shows she's Alive for her new album. We got the deets!

Unathi has been a bit quite on the music front for some time now. No one can really blame her; she judges idols, presents on Metro FM and runs a family. And still she finds time to release new music... wow!

Unathi has been hard at work on a new album for the last few weeks, sticking these pictures up on social media of her in studio.

Now Unathi has revealed that the album will be titled Alive and is available on pre-order from the 30th of September. There is no word on when the album itself will be released, but given that we haven't heard anything substantial from Unathi since her 2011 album With Love, we guess we don't mind waiting a little longer for the album to drop.

Luckily we don't have to wait till September to hear anything from the new album. Unathi debuted her first single from the album, Revolutions, on Friday morning. The collab with local rapper Reason is  a soulful hit that reminds us of everything we love about being South African.

We can't wait to hear more.
