Unathi wants to help the needy, so she's having a concert!

Singer and Idol's judge, Unathi Msengana wants to give back to the people. So she's going to have a benefit concert next month.

"Rhodes University Benefit concert! Helping kids like me who DREAM big and need financial assistance to get one step closer. So proud to be able to do so," she wrote on Instagram on Monday, alongside an invitation to the concert".

According to the invite, the concert will be held at 7pm on the 3rd of October at the Rhodes University Monument. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Rhodes Annual Fund for bursaries.

Tickets to the event will cost you R150, but if you're a student at the university you can catch free transport to and from the venue.

Unathi explains her inspiration for the concert is to help those who come from her hood and really need the help. "Raising MONEY for kids like me from GTown who dream BIG and need financial aid to help them get ONE…".

Good on you, Unathi! Good on you!
