Vho Albert: "I've done my best"

Ndivhuho Mutsila knows all about quitting while you're still ahead.

The actor, who won the hearts of viewers as Albert 'Vho-Albert' Mukwevho on popular Venda soapie Muvhango, left fans wanting more after his departure. Why did he decide to leave after 17 years?

Ndivhuwo told The Juice: "You get tired after doing the same thing for so long. I've done my best and enough is enough. You can feel it in your bones when it's enough."

Not a lot of people can last in this cut-throat industry for such a long time but Ndivhuho has proven that consistency is important. "I've learned that you've got to be perfect in whatever you do. The world is watching," he said.

Ndivhuho, who had no formal training as an actor before joining the show, described being approached by the executive producer Duma Ndlovu as one of his fondest moments.  "I was working behind the scenes when I was approached by Duma to be on the first Venda drama. We'd been pushing for a long time and it was an exciting opportunity."

The actor, who is now working behind the scenes said he's grateful for the support and encouraged people to continue supporting the show. "This was a pioneering piece of work," he added.
