Winnie says sorry to Mary for Royalty snub

Joburg - Actress and Royalty Soapie Awards founder, Winnie Ntshaba, has had to call and apologise to acting veteran Mary Twala for unintentionally snubbing her at the Royalty Soapies Awards.

According to Daily Sun, Mary was supposed to attend the event on an invite from Winnie, but after getting her invite Mary didn't hear anything more from Winnie or its organisers.

"I spent thousands of rands in Sandton in preparation for the event," Mary told the paper.

She says her excitement soon faded as she realised she would not be attending the event.

When Winnie realised Mary had not attended the awards she phoned to apologise personally to ma Mary.

“She apologised unconditionally," Mary told the paper.

"She explained that my agent didn’t respond to the invitation. It’s really not her fault and I’ve accepted her apology,” says Mary.

Right. So all's well that ends well, right?
