Young Scandal! actress mature enough to handle the hate

Nineteen- year-old Scandal! actress, Nomvelo Makhanya, is used to getting grief over her character, but she says she's mature enough to handle it.

Nomvelo plays the role of Lindiwe, a bully and rebellious school girl in the soapie and she says people often notice her and stare her down in public, but it doesn't bother her.

She says she's a working actress and her character is beyond her control, but often she has to sit people down and explain the difference between her character and reality.

"I'm definitely not my character. Some people even think I'm unapproachable and that's not the case," she explains to Sunday World.

We're still not sure we'd like a daughter like Lindiwe though... #Justsaying
