Zahara trends in SA over 'alcoholism' reports

Johannesburg- Songstress Zahara's alleged drinking problem is making headlines yet again.

On Friday morning Zahara found herself trending on Twitter after a Drum magazine report hit the streets.

Two weeks ago the songbird fiercely denied swirling rumours that she has a drinking problem and that her career was on the brink of failing as a result.

But these rumours keep popping up.

In the latest string of claims, sources revealed to Drum that Zahara was recently denied entry onto a flight to Birmingham as she was too drunk.

"Zahara was booked to perform in Birmingham and when we got to the airport the flight attendants noticed she was too drunk to board and wouldn't allow her to fly," a close friend said.

Apparently Zahara had to fly the following day but missed one of the shows she was booked to perform at.

It has also been alleged that Zahara looks "stressed" and "frustrated" because of the excessive drinking and apparently refuses to admit her problem.

Fans took to Twitter to express their opinions over the matter, which saw Zahara quickly become one of the trending topics.
