Zizo Beda encourages Lerato Kganyago

Lerato Kganyago has come far from her days as a presenter on Soweto TV. Lerato, who's now one SA's loved TV personalities, has earned her stripes in the entertainment industry and she plans to grow bigger. She recently took to Instagram to share a bit of her journey so far and encouraged her fans to never give up.

She wrote: "I've always been a big dreamer, 4 years ago, when I was still with a community channel, I had dreams, dreams so big they scared me, I was not confident, strong, famous enough to make those dreams come true, I thought. The fire in me WOUDNT let me bury those dreams, one of them was a swimwear range. God blessed me with an amazing team from Loxion Kulca that I teamed up with and I show cased my line at Fashion week."

She said the response was amazing and overwhelming. "An unknown girl from Soweto, working for a community channel, took that first step towards their dream. Unfortunately I could not continue due to financial reasons with this amazing brand. My confidence dropped, battles in the industry slowly took that fire away, other dreams became just that, DREAMS. I felt like a coward, always preaching "Live Your Dreams", but I wasn't , out of fear."

On the verge of giving up, Lerato got some encouraging words from her friend Zizo Beda. She said Zizo reminded her that she has a story to tell and reminded her of how far she has come, on her own. "The second I hung up, that fire started burning again! Remember why and when you started, don't allow anyone to take that fire away! I hope I will relive this dream again with God on my side."
