Zizo Beda opens up about her Selimathunzi exit

Johannesburg - They say all good things have to come to an end, but that doesn't mean we're not heartbroken to see Zizo Beda leave Selimathunzi.

In her 8-year stint on the show, Zizo has become the closest thing to a "Mrs Selimathunzi" but, as The Juice reported several months ago, Zizo would soon be leaving the show (more on that here) - partly because she's going to be a Mrs Tshwete.

And as her stint on the show draws to an end, Zizo has looked back at the journey, grateful for the experiences she's had.

"There have been so many fond memories, but for me the experience with people on the show is what I'll miss the most. Whether it was meeting people in the homes or on the red carpet, I enjoyed that I got to interact with people," Zizo tells Sowetan.

But fear not, Zizo fans. The beautiful actress and presenter will soon return to our screens. 

"I cannot confirm anything until a statement is released, but I will be on television," she says. "There are just a few more details I'm still working on."  

Until then, we'll just be here, in the corner, counting down the days until she returns.
