Zola "I'm doing better than my haters"

Zola has been down and out for way too long, but the star says he's back on the rise after many months of long hard days.

Zola overcame all kinds of problems to return to our screens this year, playing the role of a recycler on Vuzu's Ayeye, but he says he's happy now and he's outlived the haters and their criticism.

"Everyone who screwed me over isn't doing well. I am doing better than them,” he told Vuzu's V- Entertainment recently.

He says he has "done it all" from sleeping in expensive hotels to attending the Oscars, but he learnt the most from the financial troubles he's had to face.

"It was like I was being crucified but it had to happen. It was all worth it. I have come out a better person,” he says of the money problems which threatened to ruin him forever.

Now he says it's time to focus on working with the youth and making a difference.
