Johannesburg - We might as well tear up the calendar and call this year "Zola." After all, 2015 has seen the return of king Zola 7 in a big way.
It all started with his role as a recycler on Ayeye and has only been getting stronger from there. From cameos on Isibaya (see how that went HERE) to hosting a reality show, Utatakho, it seems Zola is back on top.
The only thing that seems to be missing is his once unstoppable music career.
Sure, Zola was still dropping music during those years of dire years, but it didn't make anywhere near the impact he had hoped. So, while he's on his winning streak, he's committed to making it work this time! Even promising to sell a million without the help of a major label!
Chatting to Slikour recently, Zola, who is still selling his last album out of his house, says he is a rule breaker and he's adamant on doing it all again to get success.
"We can't relate to the rules," he says," That is why I'm doing my own printing, recording and my own distribution. I want to see if I can sell a million on my own," he adds.
