Beyoncé gives shout-out to SA designer

Cape Town – Beyoncé Knowles gave a shout-out to South African designer, Laduma Ngxokolo, on her website.

The Formation singer, hubby Jay Z and baby Blue Ivy visited the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City last week and shared snaps from their trip on Beyoncé’s website.

One of the pictures show the work of Laduma Ngxokolo, a South African textile and knitwear designer, best known for his men's knitwear range inspired by traditional Xhosa beadwork.

The young local designer is originally from Port Elizabeth.

We know that everything Beyoncé touches turns to gold so we’re super-excited on Ngxokolo’s behalf!

The two looks from the Maxhosa by Laduma SS16 collection will be on display at the Smithsonian in New York until 12 August.
