Cassper crowned the Hottest MC in Mzansi

Johannesburg - After controversy that could make Kim K blush, Cassper Nyovest has been crowned the hottest MC in Mzansi by MTV.

The list caused an online storm last year, spawning several diss tracks and stinging social media comments by rappers on the list, especially when K.O topped the list ahead of rivals AKA and Cassper Nyovest.

And while the list was once again criticised this year (more on that here) there was a sense of inevitability about Cassper being crowned number one.

After he was awarded the title, Cassper took to social media to thank his fans:
