Cassper vs Tbo Touch: Deciphered

Johannesburg - Rapper Cassper Nyovest and radio personality Tbo Touch found themselves in the middle of an online frenzy on Monday evening, after the two seemed to bump heads over a interview on Metro FM.

Touch has never been shy to talk about his appreciation for Cassper, with rumours that he pushed to get BMW to offer the rapper a car when he was coming up. Cassper apparently turned down the offer, saying he prefered to work towards buying his own car when he could.

Cassper has often been on Tbo Touch's radio show, where the pair seemed to bounce their ambitious spirit off of each other. But it looks like there may be a bit of a souring to their relationship.

Cassper was set to give an interview to Touch on Monday afternoon, but could not make it into the Metro FM studio because he was shooting a music video.

Touch apparently refused to do interview over the phone, and instead took to radio to not only announce that there would be no interview, but if Cassper wanted an interview he would have to come into studio. A few minutes later, Touch apparently announced a telephonic interview with Cassper's bestie, Riky Rick.

It seems Cassper didn't take kindly to Touch's behaviour and took to Twitter to call out the radio DJ.

As Twitter weighed in on the situation, many fans feared that Cassper may have ruined his chances of getting any future local or international endorsements from Touch.

But the rapper did not seem phased by the comments, telling fans: "I fear God, only!!! He who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world. Watch me rise again and again!!!"

The feud comes only months after Cassper took to social media to express how disappointed he was in radio for not appreciating him and his music enough, even calling for radio to treat him like Beyoncé (more on that here).
