Johannesburg - It seems AKA fans are getting restless.
There's hardly a day that goes by without someone asking the Levels rapper when he is dropping some new heat.
In fact, the nagging has got so loud that King AKA had to address his followers this week to assure them that he WILL be dropping an album in 2016.
While I appreciate the anticipation for the new album. Give me the time and space to make it happen. Patience. It's always worth the wait ??

I think it's important to remember that I could take 5 years to work on my next album if I wanted to ... This is music. Not accounting. ??

Not that I'm going to make you wait that long but remember .... The gap between #AltarEgo and #LEVELS was 3 years. ??

Agreed. And I WILL release this year ?? https://t.co/m3vHlWrq1S

And what would a discussion about his new album be without AKA throwing a little shade to drive home the point?
We all know what a rushed album sounds like ??

The comment seems to be a dig at Cassper Nyovest, who quickly followed up his debut album with a second only a few months later.
Naturally, his fans responded...

And while we're on the topic, you know that snap that's been going around of AKA and "Cassper" dabbing? AKA wants to clear the air.
