DJ Black Coffee apologises after being arrested for speeding

Johannesburg - DJ Black Coffee is expected to appear in court tomorrow after being arrested for speeding on Christmas eve.

It's understood the popular DJ was on the N1 highway in Johannesburg when he was arrested for going 200km/h in a 120km/h zone.

He was released on R800 bail after being taken to the Florida police station on Johannesburg's west rand.

Taking to Twitter, Black Coffee said he was speeding because of a family emergency. "I am aware that this is the reason most rife with road carnage, therefore, adhering to the road laws, taking the necessary precautions in line with our country's Arrive Alive campaign I am inclined to express my deepest regrets.
