Florence Masebe's son drowns in swimming pool

Johannesburg- Condolences continue to pour in for former Generations and Muvhango actress, Florence Masebe who's 18-month-old son, Masakona drowned in a swimming pool over the weekend.

According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday afternoon at Florence's home in Bramley, Johannesburg.

Speaking to Sowetan police spokesman, Moses Maphakela confirmed the child's drowning, but could not give any further details surrounding the incident.

"Police and emergency services were called to the house after the child drowned. The child was certified dead at the scene," he explained.

As the news spreads, fans have taken to Twitter to offer their condolences to the actress and her family.
