Johannesburg – After last winning the Rugby World cup in 2007, South Africa held its breath, and hoped for the best when the Springboks travelled to England for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Nothing seems to get the nation talking more than the Springboks, and there was no shortage of opinions when the Boks started their World Cup with a shock loss to minnows, Japan.

Pieter De Villiers says the springboks must turn to the Lord: Dear Lord, why have we dedicated our lives to this stupid fuggen game?

Luckily the tide quickly turned and the Boks returned to form, marching all the way to a narrow loss to New Zealand.

And even though they didn’t make it to the final (they eventually finished third) they still made us super proud!
Shout out to the Springboks

I will never break up with you. I didn't get hooked because you won all the time. I love you cause you are in my blood. @Springboks x
