Johannesburg - Itumeleng Khune remains upbeat after suffering another major health setback.

Itu is set to undergo knee surgery, resulting in him missing out on the World Cup qualifier against Angola.

Itu has thanked his fans for their support, writing an emotional message on Instagram.

"Thanks to everyone for all of the messages of support during my difficult time. Every set back is a set up for a major come back."
