Jessica Nkosi helps raise R100K for charity

Johannesburg- Earlier this year, Jessica Nkosi and some of her celeb pals took part in the Nestea TakeThePlunge challenge to raise funds for charity. 

Jessica, Trevor Gumbi, Mark Fish, Lunga Shabalala, Shashi Naidoo and Roxy Burger donned fantasy costumes and jumped into a heated pool. 

Videos of their challenges were posted online, where fans got the chance to vote for their favourite celeb.  (Watch some of those videos here) 

And, Jessica walked away as the winner. 

All proceeds from the challenge have been donated to CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa). 

The actress, along with representatives from Nestea visited CHOC recently to hand over a cheque for R100 000. 

Jessica took to Instagram to thank everyone who voted for her and helped make a difference. 

Today I'm at the CHOC Soweto House, giving away R100 000 00 to CHOC together with NesteaSa... We won #TakeThePlunge so we get to bless these angels a little and try make a difference where we can. Thank you to #TeamJessica for voting ??????
