Listen: JR with no auto-tune

Johannesburg - Musician JR is probably as well-known for his auto-tune as Cassper is known for his ponytail, but this week he lifted the lid on his musical skills and revealed what he sounds like without the machines.

Posting a video on Instagram, JR says fans often ask him what his voice sounds like without the auto-tune, before bursting out into a song.

The video caught the attention of many fans, including quite a glowing tribute from radio legend Bob Mabena.
