Malusi Gigaba warns about fake Facebook page

Johannesburg- Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba has urged his social media followers to be aware of a fake Facebook page currently doing the rounds.

The Facebook page has been set up in Malusi's name in an attempt to con people into paying in return for jobs in government.

Malusi took to social media urging followers not to fall prey to the fraudsters.

"Yet another fake Facebook account is active in my name, with a fake email address that doesn't and has never belonged to me. Apparently, this criminal imposter is soliciting payments from people of up to R4400 to get them jobs in government. I trust that no on has fallen prey to this scam yet. We've closed many such accounts before and yet the impostors keep opening more fake accounts," Malusi wrote.
