Masasa pokes fun at Thembeka's Scandal! exit

Johannesburg- Actress Masasa Mbageni's journey with e.tv's Scandal! officially ended on Monday night. 

Masasa, who played the character of Thembeka on the soapie for five years, will be taking a "break" from her role to pursue other opportunities in theatre and films. 

When Masasa's exit was announced in January e.tv explained that Thembeka will be kept alive and could return to the show in the future. 

Thembeka's malicious plotting and scheming will obvs be missed by viewers, who have grown to either love or hate her. 

Unlike some viewers who have been sobbing ever since the announcement was made, Masasa seems to be welcoming the break from the vixen she's become known as. 

Taking to social media, Masasa poked fun at Thembeka's exit, by labelling it the #Thembekahasfallen campaign. 

At least she's able to see the lighthearted side of things!
