Cape Town – Actress Mbali Mlotshwa is reportedly now "too busy" to help the SABC and Danie Odendaal Productions with details about the exact nature of her racism claims on the set of 7de Laan.
ICYMI the rising star who had a role on the SABC2 soap, as the character of Nandi, hit the headlines recently when she said that she suffered racial abuse on the set of the show broadcast on weekdays on SABC2.
Mlotshwa said that while she expected the racist remarks from the public over her character's interracial relationship with the character of Bernard, she was shocked to experience the same racism from her colleagues on the set of the soap.
The SABC has since ordered an investigation into the on-set racism allegations although no formal complaint has been made or received so far.
Mbali Mlotshwa reportedly told Rapport "I'm too busy" to answer questions regarding the matter having since moved on and joined the cast of SABC1 legal drama Sokhulu & Partners produced by Paw Paw Films.
