Johannesburg - We all know that Menzi Ngubane is a fighter and a survivor. The well-known actor's health suffered gravely a few years back, but after having a kidney transplant, he says he is doing better.
"It's been hectic with my health and everything. But ja, I am glad. I'm back. So far, so good. I'm getting better. It's been a year and four months since I had the transplant and it's going well."
Menzi, who was at the launch of e.tv's new drama series, Heist, had his wife with him on the night. Speaking about his relationship with Sikelelo Sishuba, Menzi said he is happy. "Man, I'd say if in the world there are ten happily married couples, we are one of those. I'm happy. Just so happy. That's the most important thing."
Menzi and Sikelelo were previously divorced but re-married in a traditional ceremony last year. About his major TV comeback on Gold Diggers and Ashes to Ashes, Menzi says 2016 has been good to him. "The year has just started and I'm filming season two of Ashes to Ashes. I've had a few calls from people trying to see when I am available, so we'll see what happens."
Work sorted. Health better. Love life perfect. But Menzi, this is your year.
