Johannesburg - Actress and TV personality Minnie Dlamini has paid tribute to footballer, Mondli Cele after the Maritzburg United midfielder lost his life in a car accident this past weekend.
Mondli's death on Saturday night sent shockwaves across the nation, as fans and friends took to social media to share their grief and tributes for the 27 year old.
Taking to Twitter Minnie wrote: "My heart just broke at the passing of Mondli Cele. Incredible goal yesterday may your soul rest in peace ??"

Minnie's tribute followed those given by many in the football fraternity, including a touching tribute by Sports minister, Fikile Mbalula.

According to The Times, Mondli's family have met and will decide on funeral arrangements going forward.
