More details around the death of Florence Masebe's child

Johannesburg - The family of Florence Masebe are mourning the loss of her 18-month-old son who drowned in the family pool over the weekend.

It was earlier reported that Florence was celebrating her birthday at her house when the incident occurred. However, the family has lambasted this, saying that while it was the well-known actresses birthday, there was no celebration.

Speaking to The Juice, her brother Thabo explains that there was no party.

"She was alone with her two children. There were only two adults present: herself and her older daughter."

Thabo says that the family is in shock and have asked for privacy during this time.

While Florence has remained mum on the incident, messages of condolences continue to stream in for the actress.
