Nathi to shoot a movie about his life

Johannesburg – Watch out, Hollywood! Nathi is about to make a movie!

From prison to top of the charts, Nomvula hitmaker, Nathi Mankayi, has had a difficult and inspiring road to stardom. And we could soon see it for ourselves.

Speaking to The Juice recently, Nathi revealed that he is in the process of working on a film about his life and musical journey.

“I am work on a film on my journey till now,” he told us as part of a chat about his future plans.

“I’m also planning to travel to Holland, Switzerland and Zambia for performances in the next few months,” he adds.

Although Nathi was hesitant to give any other details on the upcoming film (including whether he, or perhaps even Idris Elba, will be starring in the lead role) he has hinted that it won’t be the only visual project from him. The star set to shoot a live DVD later in the year.

Maybe he can get Bonang to feature in the film? Now we think that would be a guaranteed Hollywood blockbuster!
