Johannesburg - Some of the continent's biggest and brightest acts have been nominated at the annual Kora All-Africa Music Awards, but there was no space for our very own Cassper Nyovest.
Instead Mzansi will be represented at the awards by the likes of Mafikizolo (Best Collaboration), The Soil (Best Album), Rebecca Malope (Best Female Spiritual Music), Yvonne Chaka (Legendary Award), Mi Casa (best Urban Music), Busiswa and Moneoa (Best Female Southern Africa).
Even Cassper's rivals, AKA and K.O, scored a nod, with nominations in the Best Male Southern Africa and best hip-hop categories respectively.
Well, as Liverpool and Arsenal fans would say: "there's always next year"
Cassper created a stir last week after he got snubbed at the SA Hip Hop Awards. Later in an interview on V-Entertainment, Cassper called it 'bullshit' and was seen walking away and throwing a recognition award on the floor.
