Pearl Thusi denies begging for her SABC job

Johannesburg- Pearl Thusi has rubbished reports that she's allegedly been begging SABC COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng for her job back.

It's been close on three weeks since Pearl resigned as a presenter of weekly music show, Live Amp.

Pearl's exit from the show came just hours after she was revealed as one of the hosts of MTV's Lip Sync Battle.

Shortly after news of Pearl's resignation emerged, speculation surrounding the situation was rife. It has been rumoured that Pearl taking up a position with a rival broadcaster allegedly angered SABC big wigs.

As reported by The Juice on 8 March, Pearl's future at the SABC has been "under review."

SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago told The Juice that Pearl was taken off air at Metro FM yet again, after another 'disagreement' between management and herself.

This after returning to her Metro FM slot for just one show after being suspended for two months. It was rumoured that Pearl and Phat Joe were suspended for allegedly taking aim at Bonang Matheba.

On Tuesday morning a fresh set of reports claimed that Pearl has apparently been "badgering" Hlaudi for a meeting, which hasn't happened yet.

Sunday World reported that it had learnt that Pearl was making every effort to take her jobs back, but scheduled meetings with Hlaudi just hasn't happened.

The paper's source claims that Pearl is sitting at home "frustrated" because all of  the Lip Sync episodes were shot in one week.

Taking to social media Pearl has laughed off the reports calling it a lie.
