Johannesburg- It's been just over two weeks since ProVerb and his ex-wife Onalerona confirmed that they would be divorcing. But if you were expecting a public spat ala Graeme Smith and Morgan Deane style, think again. If anything, it seems like the confirmation has done them the world of good.
Here's a timeline of what has happened so far:
August 2015:
ProVerb and Onalerona's marital problems first came into the spotlight when newspaper reports revealed that Onalerona had cheated on him with a well-known businessman.
At the time, ProVerb took to social media confirming the claims, but asked for privacy. Pro appealed to people not to judge his wife and said he wanted to protect his children. (Read more on that here)
26 August 2015:
Despite the scandal surrounding their marriage ProVerb and Onalerona seemed to be focussing on working on their marriage. They even shared snaps of themselves on a romantic date. (Read more on that here)
September 2015:
Sources close the couple revealed to The Juice that despite the cheating scandal, they were determined to work on their marriage.
17 December 2015:
Onalerona shocked fans across the country when she took to Facebook confirming their divorce. She thanked family and friends for the overwhelming support. ProVerb declined to comment on the matter but his publicist confirmed the news.
18 December:
Onalerona deactivated her old Instagram account. It also seemed like business as usual for Pro who seemed to throw himself into work.
Festive season:
ProVerb jetted off for a two week vacay to island paradise.
4 January:
Onalerona returned to social media with a brand new Instagram page that is filled with motivational messages and snaps that show her to be in better spirits.
