Johannesburg - He may be a big-hitting Protea on the cricket pitch, but it seems Faf Du Plessis is also winning with his missus.

The Proteas' T20 captain celebrated his two-year wedding anniversary this week, and to show his wife how much he loves her, he posted a cute tribute to her on his Instagram account.

Posting a snap of his wife, Imari, Faf wrote: "Today I'm thankful for this beautiful girl in my life. 2nd year anniversary..I am a very lucky man to have you in my life.thank you for everything that you do for me.You are a blessing in my life every day.Happy anniversary .I ?? you so much."

And with 154 000 followers, there's no doubt that A LOT of people saw his cute note to Imari.
