Reports: Erick Mathoho robbed at gunpoint

Johannesburg - It is being reported that Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs defender, Erick Mathoho has been left shaken, but unhurt after surviving a hijacking on Monday evening.

According to Sowetan, Erick Mathoho was with his two siblings when the trio were held up at gunpoint by three men.

The men apparently made off with Erick's car and all their belongings.

"Yes it is true Eric Mathoho was robbed together with his brother at gunpoint. They were approached by three gun men," Erick's agent Tim Sukazi told the paper. "They took all their personal belongings and no one was hurt."

According to Tim, speaking to Kick Off, Erick was "devastated" by the incident and struggling to comprehend what had happened. 

No arrests have been made.
