Reports: Paternity tests 'prove' Atandwa Kani isn't a father

Johannesburg - Sunday Sun is today reporting that Atandwa Kani is allegedly not the father to twin boys with his ex-wife, Thembisa Mdoda.

The newspaper is claiming that during their divorce proceedings, a paternity test has revealed that he is not the father. The paper goes on to add that Atandwa verified the rumours, quoting him as saying he was shocked by the alleged results. "I can't believe it. I've been there since day one. I was even in theatre when the kids were born."

While Atandwa and Thembisa have remained mum on social media over the reports, the newspaper is reporting that Thembisa's legal team is disputing the validity of the paternity tests, and told the publication that printing of the story and results would be premature.

The pair went through a very public split, which resulted in their families getting involved. Atandwa last year revealed that he was to marry Fikile Mthwalo.

Both have been trending on social media since the story broke. Tonight Thembisa also makes her debut as the new season host of Our Perfect Wedding.
