SA actress held at gunpoint in her house

Cape Town - Nomzamo Mbatha, best known for her role as Khwezi on the local telenovela Umlilo, has been left shaken after finding two armed men in her house in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to a report by Times Live, Nomzamo woke up at 04:00 to get ready for work when she found the armed men in her house.

The actress allegedly threw a McFlurry at one of the men before she and her family were forced into a room.

The suspects fled the scene when Nomzamo’s driver arrived at her house to take her to work.

According to Nomzamo it was the “scariest 10 minutes of her life”.

She wrote on Instagram: “What a day...Waking up in YOUR house to find intruders with guns & knives demanding YOUR things as though they have a right to them!

“Thank You Lord for keeping us safe through the scariest 10 minutes that I have ever faced.”

But nothing can keep Nomzamo down.

The actress looked radiant later on Thursday night where she was honoured as one of SA’s most glamourous women at the annual GLAMOUR Most GLAMOURous Awards.
