SHOUT libraries officially ready for business

Johannesburg- Musicians Danny K and Kabelo started non-profit organisation SHOUT SA in 2007, after the murder of music legend Lucky Dube.

The aim of SHOUT for the past nine years has been to create awareness towards a safer South Africa. Every year since the organisation was started, some of the country's biggest musicians have banded together to produce songs, which help create awareness.

Last year saw the likes of Danny K, Mi Casa, Cassper Nyovest and  Kabelo join forces to release the track, Smile. All proceeds from the tracks produced over the years have gone towards building SHOUT libraries at previously disadvantaged schools across the country.

This week a proud Danny K took to social media to announce that four libraries are officially open for business, while the fifth one will be completed at the end of this month.

"Empowering them with education and in turn changing their lives forever. Every child deserves a chance at a future. Thank you to all our partners and supporters," Danny K wrote.

Here's the end result of people joining forces...
