Somizi shares pic of taxi crash near his house

Cape Town – Idols SA judge Somizi took to Instagram on Wednesday to lash out at irresponsible taxi drivers who cause road accidents.

SomGAGA shared a photo from the crash scene on his personal Instagram account of a taxi that was flipped onto its roof next to the road.

According to him the accident took place just outside his house.

He said: “They drive 120km/h in a 60km/h zone and skip traffic lights like it’s the freeway”.

He added: “How long are we going to allow taxi drivers to bully us on the roads by breaking driving rules?”.

UNACCEPTABLE. how long are we gonna keep quite and allow taxi drivers to drive like they are carrying bags of potatoes. How long are we gonna allow taxi drivers to bully is on the roads by breaking driving rules. How long is the traffic department and saps gonna just pretend that nothing is going on. This just happened outside my gate. They drive at over 120kph on a 60km zone. Beat robots like its a freeway. This is sad and angering.
