Johannesburg - Sonia Sedibe has been through hell and back over the last few years, so who better to tell us how to beat the dark days.
It wasn't all that long ago that Sonia was sitting on the unemployment line recovering from a devastating mild stroke and a traumatic public divorce.
But as she dusts herself off for a massive comeback, Sonia has taken a moment to reflect on the dark depth of despair and shared some lessons she learnt to overcome them.
"We all struggle with one thing or other in life, when your faith is tested and your belief is zero to none...," Sonia wrote on Instagram.
"It's one thing to have that inner turmoil but it gets even magnified when elements around you are pulling you even further from your core! When people around you, are singing that negative tune louder than your inner turmoiled/troubled voice...let alone nay sayers- the devil's sproans who are doing everything in their power to derail you. At that very same point not even the Lords promise to you makes sense...after all it is competing with much radical demons. Forces forcefully negativ-ated(if there's ever such a word)," she adds.
"What do you do in that case...? Well you fight back, you dig deep to even down to the soles of your heels and strike with such vengeance the enemy won't know what hit him!!! After all you are equipped with the mightiest of powers!!! You believe you can fly...? Guess what...? You can...!!!," she wrote.
