Sophie Ndaba set to make her TV comeback

Johannesburg- Bring out the champers!

Sophie Ndaba is set to return to the small screen early next year.

The veteran actress, along with 16 other Generations cast members, found themselves without jobs at the end of last year, after they were axed from the soapie after a illegal strike.

The 16 cast members embarked on mass strike action to fight for better conditions and to renegotiate contract agreements.

Many of the actors have since found new homes on other productions.

Sophie has been away from the limelight for over a year, but has been hard at work on other projects such as growing her wedding planning business.

But the good news is that she's ready to make a much-anticipated come back.

"Some of us women who have been working with the SABC for a long time, have had support of the SABC in producing some content for them. I'm very excited about two projects that should be on screen next year. I have a prominent role in one. If you loved Queen, you'll love her, but I really can't say much more about it," she told Move! magazine.
