Teaser: Atandwa Kani's upcoming movie

Johannesburg- Atandwa Kani stars alongside his father, John Kani in locally produced movie The Suit, which is set to hit the big screen soon.

The short story is based on the life story of SA journalist and writer, Can Themba, who played an integral part of our country's history during the Apartheid era.

Atandwa's wife, Fiks shared a sneak peek of what's to come when the movie releases. And, of course, she could not contain her pride over her husband's work.

"I cannot wait to see this. It's already so heartbreaking and arresting and this is only 15 seconds! You @atandwakani and tata are fulfilling such an important role not only in your parts, but also ambassadors of South African stories. I'm so proud," Fiks wrote.

Here's a glimpse of what to expect...

I cannot wait to see this. It's already so heart breaking and arresting and this is only 15 seconds! You @atandwakani and Tata and are fulfilling such an important role not only in your parts, but also as ambassadors of South African stories. I'm so proud???? The Suit- The Acclaimed Short Story of South African journalist and writer Can Themba has been brought to the big screen. The Legacy of The Suit is quite monumental. Coming from an oppressive state of the Apartheid regime Can Themba's story is cemented within South African history. I read this story in High School and its power continues to burn trails. I interviewed Jarryd Coetsee on the blog now live, click the link. I will be posting images daily over the week. With veteran John Kani who acts alongside his son Atandwa Kani, The Suit is set for greatness. @atandwakani @jarrydcoetsee #the suit #southafrican #film #shortfilm #canthemba #southafrica #johnkani #phutinakene #atandwakani
