Toya DeLazy wins big international music award

Johannesburg - 2016 has started off really good for musician, Toya DeLazy. The singer was nominated in the Best International Song category at the Out Music Awards held in New York. And she won!

Our girl took the prize and was humble in her victory, saying it was a tight category and she was surprised.

"We just won international song of the year at the Out Music Awards in New York! I am so grateful, it was a tight category and really didn't see it coming, nominees were Ember Swift from Beijing China | Matt Fishel from the UK | Charice from the Philipines | Suzanne Nuttall a.k.a. Sue de Nym a.k.a. Ponyta from Toronto | I would love to thank the team that trusted me with direction and worked with me to make this song which has been also featured in the Award winning movie WHILE YOU WEREN'T LOOKING, It is such an honor to know that this song was necessary to the world, Thank you to the supporters, I do it for you, If we start off like this I feel 2016 is going to be HUGE."
