Johannesburg- Rapper Nomuzi Mabena may see herself as the next Brenda Fassie, but it seems that Twitter just doesn't agree with her.
It's been a rough week and a bit for Nomuzi, who left both her MTV and Cashtime Life gigs within a couple of days of each other.
So, the last thing she expected to find on a Friday morning was to see her name once again topping the trends list on Twitter, after comparisons between herself and the late Brenda Fassie.
Several months ago, Nomuzi told The Juice that she saw herself as "Brenda Fassie meets Rihanna" and the comparison has never really died since.
But after a recent article by True Africa who compared her to the late songbird, Twitter has once again sharpened the pitchforks and went out to roast poor Nomuzi.
And, well, we all know what happens when Twitter gets its hands on someone.
