Unathi Msengana: Women were my main abusers

Johannesburg- Idols SA judge, Unathi Msengana has come out strongly against the abuse she endured at the hands of other women over her weight.

Unathi has been dug into on numerous occasions and called all sorts of names on social media.

In 2014 a picture of Unathi without makeup went viral, with trolls ridiculing the way she looked. Another picture of her at Idols saw her get massive hate, when she was caught off-guard with her arms in the air, which showed off her armpits.

Unathi has always been vocal about the hate she's received and has taken it her stride.

Reflecting on her weight-loss journey, Unathi has once again detailed the abuse she endured from other women.

"PLEASE allow me to get personal! I was pushed to start this journey because of the public abuse I was receiving from WOMEN! Yes WOMEN were my main ABUSERS. Some I knew who were friends of friends and some who hid under anonymity! BUT I did it for ME!," Unathi wrote.

She added that the inner strength she's gained from this challenge is "indescribable."

"My confidence and courage to walk trough this life has got me doing things I never thought I could do professionally, socially and privately. Thank you to ALL OF YOU whom I love and know and those who I have NEVER met who just gave me words of kindness! I AM because of you! Let's do this together! Whatever your goal! To gain or to lose! QUEEN! P.S I have forgiven ALL those women ha ha ha ha," Unathi added.
