Vusi Nova: I spent R500K on drugs

Johannesburg- Singing sensation, Vusi Nova has opened up about turning to drugs to deal with the pain after the death of his mom.

The Nomakanjani hitmaker recently spoke about his troubled past to Pearl Modiadie on Zaziwa

Vusi admitted to using all kinds of drugs after his mom passed away.

"I was a spoilt child, my mother used to spoilt me," Vusi said.

The singer explained that he spent the inheritance his mom left him in ten months.

"I spent about R500K in ten months," Vusi said.

The singer's addiction to drugs led him onto a path of destruction, and almost stripped everything away from him. One day he woke up and decided to turn his life around for the better.

Vusi made a decision to work on his music in honour of his mom.

The good news is that Vusi is clean and is looking forward to releasing his highly-anticipated album, which features the likes of Nathi and Zahara.

Good for you, Vusi!
