Johannesburg- As reported by The Juice two months ago, Vuyo Dabula has made an about turn on his exit from Generations:The Legacy.
In August Generations:The Legacy released a statement announcing that Vuyo, who plays Gadaffi would be leaving the show. (Read that story here)
The news left fans shocked as Vuyo plays a lead character on the soapie.
This was followed by an exclusive report by The Juice after well placed sources revealed that Vuyo was in talks with producers and had struck a deal to stay. (Read that story here)
At the time Generations:The Legacy publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi would neither confirm or deny our reports, explaining that producers wanted to keep viewers "intrigued" and "pleasantly surprised."
This week both Generations:The Legacy and Vuyo have confirmed the news.
"Vuyo is staying because we have good working relationship with him. He is popular with the viewers and that is why it was not a hard decision to reconsider him," Gaaratwe told City Press.
Vuyo also told the paper that he was not ready to leave the soapie.
"I just felt that it was too soon. I had introduced myself to my new fans and the Generations family. I have already made a connection with them," he told the paper.
