Johannesburg- MC Nadia Nakai may have made her move to Family Tree Records official, but it looks like it's only the beginning of a long journey for the female rapper.
The news of Nadia signing to Cassper's record label last week took the internet by storm, with Nadia and the announcement both trending on social media (more on that here).
One of the biggest questions on every fan's lips is how exactly the move will change Nadia and her sound.
Talking to Vuzu this week, Cassper says that the label has big plans for Nadia, and it includes awards and a spot on this year's Hottest MCs list.
"The team is very excited about Nadia. One of the things we really want to do is change her sound from being a female rapper to just a rapper. We want her songs to compete with my songs and with Kwesta's songs," Cassper says.
"My biggest goal with Nadia, besides making hits all year long, is to see her on the top 10 hottest MCs list by the end of the year," Cassper adds.
